What is the Thunder 480 (360 kW)?
The Thunder 480 in its 360 kW configuration is an ultra-fast DC charging station designed for heavy-duty electric vehicles and high-throughput commercial installations. With 500–1000V DC output range and dual charging outlets, it delivers rapid charging for trucks, buses, and large battery EVs.
Dynamic power distribution with 1/4 granularity intelligently allocates power between the two outlets based on each vehicle's state of charge. The independent cooling system ensures stable 24/7 operation even at full load in temperatures up to 55°C.
The station supports customization including branded logos and colors, POS terminal integration, and optional heater and dehumidifier for harsh climates. OCPP 1.6J/2.0 compliance enables seamless integration with any charging management platform.
